 PERSONAL SCHEDULE

A personal schedule sheet has been placed in the booklet for your convenience. Before the event, take some time to browse through the presentations.

CONFERENCE BADGE
|
|
The conference badge shows the attendee's name and code. The badge also contais a conference attendence record upon which session stamps will be places. Attendance records will be stamped ONLY at the end of each session. A certificate will be awarded to the participants who have attendes the minimum sessions required.
It is important to carry the conference badge at all times, as it is a requirement to enter any of the conference rooms and activities. Please take care of your badge, a Q20.00 fee will be charged to replace lost badges.

CERTIFICATES

Participats are required to attend a minimun of six sessions including pleanry sessions in order to get conference certificate.
Certificates will be handes out the last day of the conference. Participants are asked to pick up certificates at the specified places according to the code number written on the bagde.

REMINDERS
|
|
Take in all the grat information given during workshops. It is best to turn off your mobile phone. Mobile phone calls may distract your attention from the presentation.

COORDINATION STRAND
|
|
Every year we hear about people who become involved in the administration of a language program because of their outstanding performance as language teachers. This gives people a lot of advantages in the administration of these programs such as being aware of the teachers’ needs; however this also poses many challenges because most of them do not have the administrative field’s background. In our strive to provide better opportunities for training, this year we are very excited to offer parallel series of sessions to the RCTE.
SPECIAL FEATURES
This series of sessions condense the Language Program Supervision Practices Certificate offered by The School for Teacher Development which is a program administered by IGA’s Academic Unit.
ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATE
The strand’s sessions will grant you a different attendance stamp. Every stamp counts toward the total of stamps needed for receiving a RCTE certificate, but anyone can also choose to attend the four sessions and receive an additional certificate that gives them credit for attending the complete strand.
